The Asian gambling industry, which had been under strict surveillance during the last 40 years, is now enjoying a sudden and rapid bloom.

Macau is a great example of the new winds that blow in the Asian gambling industry. In Macau more than fifty Super Casinos are being plant to build before the end of the first decade of the 21st century. Macau is setting an important example for the whole Asian gambling industry, and its goal is to become the "Asian Las Vegas". Their hope is to attract millions of tourists every year, and expected revenues exceed 1.2 billion USD.

More Asian cities are planning on building super-casinos as well, such as Singapore. Though there are many public debates on the subjects, it seems that the center on the international gambling industry is coming back home – to Asia.
